Csárdás

Csardas has a new spinnaker. Light SE winds yesterday gave us the perfect opportunity to test it out. The snuffer makes light work of hoisting and dousing the 102 square metre sail. See some pictures here.

Last week we took two guys from Simrad sailing so that they could test their new Wheelpilot system. Here is a photo showing their equipment in the cockpit. They had been the week before and came back after making some modifications. We managed to test the new product in a range of conditions and it performed extremely well. A lot of fun was had by all despite the freezing north winds.
