Rally Portugal Take Two!

Thursday, May 26th, 2005

As mentioned previously we’re crewing for the new Swagman, a Hanse 461, on the first leg of Rally Portugal 2005. We depart Plymouth on Sunday morning and sail across Biscay to Bayona in NW Spain. We’re off down to Devon this afternoon to visit Angela’s folks and drop Vasco off and we’ll join Swagman in Plymouth on Friday.

You can follow our progress and read logs at: rallyportugal.worldcruising.com.

Or read Swagman’s yacht blogs at: www.yotblog.com/swagman/.

The current forecast is suggesting the Westerlys will go round to the North in the Plymouth region on Sunday - just in time. And the forecast for Monday and Tuesday in the Biscay area is suggesting North to North Easterlies possibly going East later. Fingers are very firmly crossed that this will prove to be the case!

All being well we’ll arrive sometime on Wednesday. We fly back from Bayona (via Barcelona) early next Saturday morning (4th June). See you soon!
